John Hodnefjell is borne in 1970 and has since childhood and throughout education worked with fish at the docks and process plants in Måløy. He started his education with a two year study in economics and continued with a four year bachelor's degree from the Norwegian official teachers college. After a one year break as a professional soldier with NATO in Bosnia he attended the University of Bergen where he wrote about the fishing industry in Shetland. He joined Coast Seafood AS in 2000 as a trainee with NHO, and has through these years been working with sourcing salmon and trout. He today holds the position as Senior Purchaser.
